Safe and Drug Free Schools exists to support and promote school/communty programs, services and activities that create a safe/drug-free learning environment for children and families of the St. Louis Public School District.

1. To strengthen school programs that develop character and prevent the use of drugs and violence in and around schools.
   
2. To assist school staff and students with instructional activities and experiences to meet program goals.
   
3. To monitor, prepare and disseminate information related to the Safe/Drug-Free Schools and Communities education program.
